Pragma Technology's core competencies lie within Microsoft development platforms, currently .NET languages (C# variant is preferred). This includes ASP.NET (Web Forms and Razor) .NET Windows applications. Pragma Technology has worked with this particular development framework right from the first version in Visual Studio 2002. Previous to .NET that Pragma Technology concentrated on Visual Basic 6.0 and "Classic" ASP. We have extensive experience with:
- Visual Basic for Applications as used by the Office suite, in particular developing Microsoft Access applications, both Access databases and Access Data Projects (using SQL Server). We have been developing in VBA from version 2.0 of Access (Access Basic) up to the current version Access 2010.
- SQL Server beginning with version 7.0 up to the current version 2008 R2. This includes administration of database servers and designing, developing and securing databases on those servers. In addition development of complex stored procedures and user defined functions.
- Configuring and using IIS from IIS3 on Windows NT 4 right up to the current IIS7 on Windows Server 2008 R2.
